Ronnie "Dick" Chapman

Ronnie "Dick" Chapman, age 64, of Louisa, KY passed away July 26, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born January 5, 1957 in Louisa, KY to the late Virgil James Chapman and Christine Mills Chapman and lived in Lovely, KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Terry Lee Chapman and James Virgil Chapman, and three sisters, Dottie Endicott, Mary Ann Jeannette, and Sarah Muncy. He is survived by one brother, Benjamin Chapman of Warfield, KY, and one sister, Cathy (Tim) Meddings of Crum, WV. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews , as well as special nieces Annie Muncy and Maranda Nichols, special nephew, Dink Nichols, and special caregivers, Eldon and Linda Muncy. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the New Friendship United Baptist Church on Old Route 3. Burial will follow at the Short Cemetery on Yellow Creek. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 5 PM on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
