Rosie Marie Dingess (Stepp), 55 years old, of Warfield, KY, was born on March 6, 1971. She was of the Christian faith and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 30, 2026. Rosie’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She had a huge heart and cared for others in a way no one else could.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Joann (Stepp) VanHoose, her father, Alvin VanHoose, and her brother Ovie Lee VanHoose. She is survived by her two daughters, Brittany Davis (Brayden Runyon) and Amisha Marson (Brandon Marson); one beautiful granddaughter, Everleigh Quinn Marson, two sisters Priscilla Stepp and Connie Osborne (Johnny), her husband, Ronald Dingess, step-daughter Ashely Horn and step-grandsons Brody and Bryson; a special nephew, Ronald Austin Butcher, and a host of other nieces and nephews. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank Appalachian Hospice Care Center of Hagerhill, KY and their compassionate nurses and team members for their love, care and support through this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the Chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Vanhoose Family Cemetery, Inez, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home in Inez, KY.
