Ruby Pearl (Meade) Stepp

Ruby Pearl Stepp, age 76, of Inez, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024, following an extended illness. Ruby was born on July 27, 1948, in Logan County, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Ruby Meade and Eddie Meade, and one brother, James Larkin Browning. Ruby is survived by her husband, Wendell Stepp of 54 years; two daughters, Lori (Shannon) Smith and Kim (Jeff) Woods; three granddaughters, Krysten (Clay) Munn, Lily Woods, and Kelli Woods; four grandsons, Kyle Creamer, Ryan (Brooke) Smith, Brady (Ashley) Smith, and Kaleb Smith; four great-grandchildren, Addilynn, Braxton, BrenLynn, and Elise; three sisters, Annie (Jesse) Barnhart, Shirley Grimmett (Terry Plumley), and Bonnie (Mike) Richardson; and a very special sister-in-law, Alice Faye Stepp. Ruby also had a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Ruby was a passionate child of God who spent much of her time singing his gospel. She was also a faithful member of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home in Inez, KY, on December 21, 2024, at 1 PM with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Stepp Family Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
