Samuel Abraham McGinnis

Samuel Abraham McGinnis, age 82, of Debord, KY passed away September 16, 2021 at Highlands Appalachian Regional Healthcare in Prestonsburg, KY. He was born July 28, 1939 in Martin County, KY to the late Willie B. and Lushie Preece McGinnis. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vina Mae McGinnis, two sisters, Susan McGinnis and Goldie Mae McGinnis, and two brothers, Clell McGinnis and Bazil McGinnis. He is survived by two sons, Samuel Brian McGinnis and Brad Jilson McGinnis, both of Debord, KY, four sisters, Vicki McGee and Thelma Cook both of Debord, KY, Onita Hammond of Paintsville, KY, and Marietta McGinnis of Inez, KY, and four brothers, George McGinnis of Tomahawk, KY and Leslie McGinnis, Gordon McGinnis and Benny R. McGinnis, all of Debord, KY. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service at the Delong McGinnis Cemetery at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 with Phillip Kirk officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
