Sharon Kay Maynard

Sharon Kay Maynard, age 69, of Inez, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at King’s Daughter’s Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky.  Sharon was the firstborn into the family of the late Herbert Maynard and Norma Jean Maynard, of Inez, Kentucky.

Besides her father, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Kay Dials; two brothers, John Herbert Maynard and Gregory Glen Maynard; one sister, Legina Sue Maynard Jude; and one sister-in-law, Judith Helton Maynard.

She is survived by one daughter, Leigh Ann Dials of Inez, Kentucky; four grandsons, Cory (Amy) Hackney of Georgetown, Kentucky, Toby (Shaila) Workman of Louisa, Kentucky, Joey Workman and Dustin Workman, both of Inez, Kentucky; great grandchildren Aiden Rayce Hackney, Jayden Leigh Workman, Aria Lea Klyse, Liza Lea Klyse, Easton Grey Workman, Liam Tate Hackney, Rheya Layne Hackney and Levi Kruz Workman; two brothers, Joe Edward (Wanda) Maynard of Inez, Kentucky, and Ronald Lee Maynard of Pilgrim, Kentucky; two sisters, Denise (Garry) Gauze of Inez, Kentucky, and Natasha Lea (Stan) Boyd of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Simpkins Maynard and Pauletta Mills Hinkle; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday, February 24, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with James R. Maynard officiating.  Burial will follow at the Herbert Maynard Family Cemetery in Inez, Kentucky.  Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 23, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
