Tennis Maynard, Jr.

Tennis "Bud" Maynard, Jr. age 68 passed away on June 5, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on March 13, 1956, in Columbus, OH to the late Tennis and Esther (Mullins) Maynard. Tennis is survived by his wife Karen (Jones) Maynard of Louisa, KY, one son, Tennis Colbie Maynard (Sydney) of Louisa, KY, and one sister, Patty Fields (Lowell). He was a Papaw to three grandchildren that were his life and kept him going, Sophia, Skyllar and Lucas. He is also survived by one sister-in-law, Kim, that he thought of as a little sister, and a friend that he always looked up to as a big brother, Marcus Wilson. He leaves behind numerous family members, friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well. Tennis was of Baptist faith and loved the Lord. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. To know him was to love him, always willing to go out of his way to help someone in need. He will be missed by all that knew him. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Tennis will be laid to rest at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, beginning at 11 AM until time of the funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
