Terry Michael Stapleton

Terry Michael "Mikey" Stapleton, age 66, of Louisa, KY, passed away April 25, 2026, at his residence from a sudden illness. Terry was born on May 26, 1959, to the late Clarence and Nora (Terry) Stapleton in Louisa, KY. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ray Stapleton, one sister, Mary Howell, one brother-in-law, Richard "Rick" Meade, and two sisters-in-law, Teresa Stapleton and Ann Stapleton. Terry is survived by five sisters, Bonnie Meade of Louisa, KY, Alice Stapleton of Louisa, KY, Nora (Frank) Truitt of Louisa, KY, Brenda (Victor Seidlertz) Stapleton of Franklin, OH, and Julie (Ron) Gilmore of Franklin, OH, two brothers, Samuel Stapleton of Louisa, KY, and Clarence Stapleton of Louisa, KY, one brother-in-law, Frankie Howell, and one sister-in-law, Joyce Bentley Stapleton. Terry had many special nieces and nephews. He had fifteen nieces and nephews, thirty-six great nieces and nephews, and eighteen great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two special friends, Kim Preece and Jamie Hall. 

Terry was a member of Richardson Chapel. Terry was loved by many and will truly be missed by all. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 12 PM at Richardson Chapel with Tommy Meade officiating. Burial will follow at the Stapleton Cemetery in Nats Creek. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, April 27th and Tuesday, April 28th. Family may visit beginning at 4 PM on Monday and friends from 5 PM to 10 PM. Tuesday, family and friends may visit from 10 AM to 10 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
