Troy Gullett, age 77, of Pilgrim, KY, passed away July 28, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1943 to the late Oscar Gullett and Florence Lemaster Gullett in Magoffin County, KY. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Bruce Gullett, DB Gullett, Joe Lee Gullett, and Roy Gullett, two sisters, Mary Minix and Gladys Gullett, his father in law, Cassius "Cat" Moore and one son in law, Willie Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Moore Gullett, three sons, Troy (Jennifer) Gullett, Jr. and Cody Gullett, both of Pilgrim, KY, and Tyler Gullett of Myrtle Beach, SC, two daughters, Norma Robinson of Lovely, KY and Charlene (Jennings) Jarrell of Dunlow, WV, his mother in law, Bertina Moore, and three sisters, Ada Vance of Dayton, OH, Martha Williams of Urbana, OH, and Amanda Prater of Salyersville, KY. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, Michelle (Jeremy) Moore, Renae (Kelly) Ratliff, Michael (Jessie) Robinson, Cody (Brooke) Robinson, Cassandra Jarrell, Brittany (Andrew) Parker, Savannah (Justin) Muncy, Bethany Jarrell, Candace (Ashton) McComas, Navaeh Jarrell, Jesse Jarrell, Alyiah Jarrell, Shane Jarrell, Matthew Jarrell, and Desirae Gullett, as well as eleven great grandchildren, a host of family and friends that loved him and his sidekick, Sassy. Troy was a member of the Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church and held dual membership at both the Warfield 882 and Inez Marion Hale Masonic Lodges. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 beginning at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Elder Dan Ison and Elder David Gambel presiding. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden, Inez, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM. There will be a Masonic Funeral at 7 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
