Violet M. (Smith) Webb

Violet M. Webb, age 86, of Paintsville, KY, formerly of Lovely, KY, passed away December 6, 2021 at her residence. She was born June 5, 1935 in Williamson, WV to the late Harold Smith and Vicie Browning Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepmother, Girley Smith, four brothers, Harold Lee Smith, Richard Smith, Kenny Smith, and Gary Smith, two sisters, Bridgette Hinkle and Vista Marie Smith, and one grandchild, Danny Preece, II. She is survived by her husband, Jimbo Webb, two sons, Edsel (Denise) Preece of Winter Haven, FL and Danny (Pamela) Preece of Tutor Key, KY, two daughters, Phyllis (Paul) Campbell of Van Lear, KY and Sharon (Ron) Bella of Alexandria, KY, two brothers, James Ray Smith of Warren Cliff, WV and Billy Smith of Oceanna, WV, and four sisters, Freda Cline of Baisden, WV, Girley Kennedy of Lexington, NC, Ilene Martin of Mooresville, NC, and Ola Roberts of Pineville, WV. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Curtis Campbell, Jeremy Preece, Hope Taylor, Jonathan Campbell, Ryan Preece, Tori Jarrell, and Tate Preece, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Lonnie Smith and Ryan Preece officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverview Memorial Garden in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home.
