Obituary

Virgie Jude Fletcher, 85, of Tomahawk, KY, got her angel wings on April 12, 2020 at Ashland community hospice house in Ashland KY. She was born May 14, 1934 in Martin County to the late Harrison and Ollie Maynard Jude. Virgie loved to sew, cook, go to church and just have a good time with her family. She was a member of Big Elk United Baptist Church. Virgie is preceeded in death by her late husbands, James Henry Jude and Flem Fletcher, also two sons, Joseph (Jody) Jude, and Calvin Jude, one Daughter in law, Melissa Jude, six brothers, David, Bill, Elijah, Harrison, George, Thomas Jefferson and Floyd Jude, and two sisters, Easter Crum and Louisa Jude. She is survived by her two sons, Andy (Bertha) Jude of Tomahawk and  Danny (Amanda) Jude of Van Lear, one daughter in law, Betty Jude of Rockcastle Rd., one daughter, Betty (Chris) Preece of Tomahawk, one sister, Vicky (Wendal) Luther, three brothers, Joe (Judy) Jude, Charlie (Mable) Jude and Lacy (Gladys) Jude, twelve grandkids, Rachael Smith, Ricky (Chasity) Jude, James (Amanda) Jude, Jennifer (Bob) Crum, Hazel (Denver) Goble, Leighann (Adam) Crum, Dovie (Mark) Jude, Cassairiana (Steven) Maynard, Shayna Jude, Jonathan Brown, Tyler (Katrina) Preece and Lexi Preece. She also had twenty-seven great grand kids and one great great grand daughter as well as a host of nieces and nephews she loved very much. Private graveside services will be officiated by Elder Jim Maynard at Muncy Cemetery of Emily Creek. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
