Virgie Jude

Virgie Jude, age 79, of Inez, KY, passed away October 1, 2023 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. She was born April 5, 1944 in Martin County, KY to the late Jeff and Kate Maynard Jude. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by ten of her brothers and sisters, Easter Coleman, Liz Jones, Victoria Sparks, Elma Jones, Dolly Mills, Isaac Jude, John Jude, Tommy Jude, Harlon Jude, and Edgar Jude. She is survived by two sons, Howard L. Mills, Jr. and Martin Jefferson Mills, both of Inez, KY, two daughters, Connie D. Mills Preece of Louisa, KY and Ida Kay Mills Castle of Elyria, OH, one stepdaughter, Donna J. Maynard of Inez, KY, and four siblings, Margie Mills, Edward Jude, Charlie Jude and James Jude. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Rusty Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at the Mills Family Cemetery on Coldwater. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
