Wallace Sartin

Wallace Sartin, age 91, of Pilgrim, KY, passed away March 22, 2023 at Martin County Nursing Facility. He was born April 19, 1931 in Martin County, Kentucky to the late Lige and Matilda Jude. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Eva Dials Sartin, his second wife, Rhoda Newsome Sartin, one son, Johnny Sartin, three stepchildren, nine brothers, Lloyd, Hayes, Ellis, Willis, Johnny, Elijah, Calvin, Walter, and Robert, and six sisters, Laudie, Margie, Betty, Maggie, Myrtle, and Lona. He is survived by one son, Wallace (Ruth) Sartin, Jr. of Pilgrim, KY, two daughters, Linda Carol Lowe of Pilgrim, KY and Matilda Howard of Canada, KY, and one sister, Margaret Simpkins of Sunbury, OH. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1 PM at the Little Home Church, Pilgrim, KY with Terry Harmon and Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at the Sartin Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Friday beginning at 4 PM, all day Saturday and Sunday, and until the time of services on Monday. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
