Wanda L. (Harmon) Vanhoose

Wanda L. Vanhoose, age 79, of Paintsville, KY, passed away April 27, 2024 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was born April 12, 1945 in Kermit, WV to the late George Avery Harmon and Mary Eunice Grace Harmon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Thomas Vanhoose, one son, Darrick Avery Harmon, one brother, Darrell Harmon, and one sister, Diane Branham. She is survived by two sons, Wesley Harmon of Africa and Adam Christian Skeans of Phoenix, AZ, three daughters, Lewana Jill Skeans of Madison, WI and Paula Skeans, both of Madison, WI, and Allison Elaine Tackett of Glasgow, KY, three brothers, George Gary Harmon of Inez, KY, Glen Harmon of Webbville, KY, and Randy Harmon of Winchester, KY, and three sisters, Kay Whitt of Tomahawk, KY, Robin Newsome of Inez, KY, and Joan Castle of Louisa, KY. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11 AM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Eddie Joe Stepp, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Valley Memorial Garden. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
