William Douglas Mounts

William Douglas Mounts, age 77, of Inez, KY, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the Martin County Health Care Facility. He was born on June 26, 1948, to the late Lochie and Shirley Marie (Dillon) Mounts in Martin County, KY. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae (Phillips) Mounts, one sister, Anna Rae Penna, and two brothers, Perry Mounts and Frederick McCoy. William is survived by two daughters, Shirley Anne (Kevin) Whisman, and Kelly Phillips, two brothers, John Curtis Mounts and Paul W. Mounts, three sisters, Effie Lynn Spaulding, Sandra McCoy Adkins, and Debra Hart, and two grandchildren, Piper Corbett and Krissa (Cory) Matney and two great grandchildren, Reese Rose and Mason Matney. At the request of the family there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
