William Sweeney

William "Bill" Sweeney, age 52, of Beauty, KY, passed away on August 22, 2024, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born on June 21, 1972, to the late Mason Sweeney and Annie (Chaffin) Sweeney in Louisa, KY. In addition to his father, William was preceded in death by one brother, Mason Sweeney, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Edith (Davis) Sweeney of Beauty, KY, his mother, Annie (Chaffin) Sweeney, two sons, James Mason Sweeney of Kermit, WV, and Ryan Thomas Davis of Warfield, KY, one daughter, Sara Davis of Beauty, KY, one brother, John (Angela) Sweeney of Ohio, and four sisters, Thelma (Randy) Slone of Inez, KY, Belinda (Clifford) Bennett of Paintsville, KY, Annette (Mike) Evans of Inez KY, and Norma Sweeney. William is also survived by one grandchild, James Nikkoli Sweeney, six nieces, Dorothy Ann Slone, Virginia Layne Maier, Madison Ann Bennett, Alysa Bennett, Savannah Dawn Evans, and Zeena Shea Evans, eight nephews, Joshua Steven Sweeney, Justin Matthew Sweeney, Kenneth Ray Sweeney, Randy Earl Slone II, Phillip Ryan Slone, Michael Dale Evans, Jr, Gabriel Merrell Evans, and Braydun Bennett, and a host of uncles, aunts, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday August 30, 2024, at 12 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.
